The trophy was donated by Marj.'s husband in her memory. |

Roy Tugwell joined the club in 1990 and was a long time Committee Member and was President in 2000-2001.
He was the Tuesday, Thursday & Friday Director for many years and also held regular Improver lessons. Roy was made a Life Member in 2007 and he still plays every Monday night. |

Buzz & Isobel Symons were members of the Steering Committee which established the Club.
Buzz became the first President 1971-72. He also served on the Committee until 1980 and was made a Life Member in 1981. |

Jack & Sylvia Dellow were original Members who were very involved with the club until they moved to Taupo in 1982.
Jack served on the Committee 1974-82, was Treasurer 1974-1978 and President 1979-80. |

Pat McNeill joined the club in 1974. She became a committee member in 1976 and was Ladies Vice-President 1979-81.
Pat was the Tuesday night hostess for many years. |
Cliff Andrews Trophy

Most Promising New Player
|
In 1987, as a very young man, Cliff Andrews joined the club and played regularly until moving to London in 2001.
In 2003, Cliff set up a small Trust fund from which the annual Club subscription is paid for the most promising young player or, in a year when there are no new young players, the most promising beginner. |

Most Improved Tuesday Player
|
Anne Algie was on the steering committee which established the club. She became the first Ladies Vice-President and set up the House Committee.
Anne taught the first beginner lessons and presented the tray when she retired to Waikanae in 1973. |
